you've seen him once.
that's all it took.
you didn't greet,
you've never shook.
you didn't speak,
you didn't laugh.
you gave a smile,
and then you passed.
he saw a spark,
a chance for help.
you saw the need,
his hand you held.
but what if you left,
and never came back?
where would he go,
with the love that he lacked?
would he pack up and leave,
to never return?
not from his home,
but from emotions he's learned?
would he continue this life,
and proceed with his stride?
living with pain,
hiding his strife?
to think in a way,
to know what he'll do,
you'd have to try it some day,
but your life you'll screw.
